These terms govern your use of Archle, operated by XSHLabs at archle.xshlabs.co.za. Contact admin@xshlabs.co.za for support, complaints and notices. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. Read our privacy notice to understand how information is handled.
What Archle provides
Archle is a free educational practice tool for system design interviews. Full mode offers written challenges and AI-assisted feedback; Quick mode offers multiple choice practice. Questions, model answers, scores and progress indicators support learning. They are not professional advice, an accredited assessment, a guarantee of an interview result, or a statement that an employer will accept a particular design.
AI and authored material can contain errors, omissions or bias. Check reasoning independently, consider alternatives and use the grade-report feature or contact us when feedback appears wrong. We may correct content or scoring defects. We do not promise uninterrupted access, permanent availability of a particular challenge, a fixed feature set or a service-level agreement.
Accounts and eligibility
You must be at least 18 to create an account. Give accurate account information, keep sign-in credentials secure and notify us of suspected misuse. Choose a username that you are comfortable displaying publicly. Do not impersonate another person or share an account to manipulate scores or evade limits. Firebase’s sign-in and verification requirements apply. You can stop using Archle at any time and request account deletion through Settings.
Acceptable use
- Use the service lawfully and respect other people’s rights.
- Do not submit confidential employer/client material, passwords, unlawful content, personal information you are not entitled to disclose, or infringing material.
- Do not attempt unauthorised access to accounts, private answer keys or infrastructure, bypass quotas/security controls, run abusive automated traffic, or manipulate leaderboards.
- Report a suspected security issue privately to admin@xshlabs.co.za; do not access or publish other people’s data to demonstrate it.
We may apply reasonable rate limits, investigate misuse and restrict or suspend access when needed to protect users, comply with law or enforce these terms. Contact us if you believe a restriction is mistaken. We will consider relevant information and provide an appropriate explanation where lawful and practical.
Your answers and AI processing
You retain the rights you have in material you submit. You give XSHLabs the limited permission needed to store, transmit, display to you and evaluate that material, provide support and operate the requested service. This includes sending Full answers/sketches to our configured AI services as described in the privacy notice. It does not authorise us to publish your individual answers as a public question bank. Public profiles, leaderboards and aggregate community insights work as described in that notice.
You are responsible for having permission to submit your material. Provider terms may affect AI outputs and processing. Archle does not guarantee that generated feedback is unique, correct or free of third-party rights. Sharing a result is your choice; avoid including information you do not want others to see.
Project material and source releases
XSHLabs and its licensors retain rights in Archle branding, questions and other service material unless a separate licence states otherwise. You may use the provided material for your own practice. Any source-code release is governed by the licence accompanying that release. These terms do not grant access to unreleased content, private account data, credentials or trademarks, and describing the project as community-oriented does not itself release every repository asset under an open-source licence.
Availability, costs and responsibility
The hosted service is currently offered without a subscription charge. Your own connectivity costs still apply. If we introduce paid features, the price and applicable terms will be disclosed separately before you choose them; these terms do not authorise an undisclosed charge.
We take reasonable care in operating Archle, but it is provided for practice on an available basis. To the extent permitted by law, we exclude guarantees about accuracy, continuous availability, fitness for a particular interview and indirect losses caused by reliance on feedback. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable consumer and privacy protections, or liability for fraud or other conduct that the law does not allow us to disclaim.
Changes, disputes and contact
We may update these terms and will identify the latest revision date. Material changes will receive appropriate notice; additional consent will be requested where required. Changes do not remove rights that already apply under mandatory law. If you disagree, you can stop using the service and request deletion.
South African law governs these terms, subject to any mandatory protections that apply to you. Please contact admin@xshlabs.co.za first so we can try to resolve a concern. This does not prevent you from contacting a regulator or using a court or other remedy available under applicable law.
